(Nov., 2011) I
am currently in the Philippines; the very place where my Dad was killed. For
more than five years, I have returned here every few months to train pastors
through our Antioch Institute training. Today I taught nearly 200 leaders about
being leaders of excellence and how to reproduce their ministries.
There are now more than 250 Antioch training centers around Mindanao where
thousands of leaders are being taught each week. It has truly become a movement
of the Holy Spirit!
We just had one graduation of leaders on Saturday who faithfully studied for
more than four years. In two days we will have our largest graduation yet with
over 180 leaders graduating in the city of Mati. I am so proud of these leaders
who even launched a radio station so that the teaching could penetrate deeper
into the mountains. Pray for the leaders to be encouraged and empowered to take
the Gospel of the Kingdom even further. We are truly seeing 2 Timothy 2:2 lived
out.
Pray for my trainers too; Bopea, Poline and myself are teaching. The Philippines
has always been our toughest location where we usually always become sick and
broken down physically. Sometimes with horrible things like kidney stones and
bird flu, but this time I have really hurt my back and a cold is coming on. Pray
for physical healing in this time of empowering leaders and celebration.
